At 20:45 on December 27, the Long March 5 remote 3 launch vehicle was ignited and lifted off at Wenchang space launch site of China. After 2220 seconds, Shijian-20 satellite was accurately put into the predetermined orbit of 192km perigee and 68000km apogee. The launch flight test was successful!
The "fat five" carrier rocket uses liquid oxygen kerosene and liquid hydrogen and liquid oxygen clean propellant. Two yf-77 hydrogen oxygen engines are used in the core stage, with a single thrust of 50 tons; two yf-75d expansion cycle hydrogen oxygen engines are used in the core stage II, with a single thrust of 9 tons.
